The Graphical User Interface (GUI) is not a 'new' concept. Personal computers have been using such a system for almost two decades: icons, folders, buttons, etc.
But the medical community, moving steadily closer to computerized
solutions (like JonokeMed™), has not always benefited from
this approach to a software's appearance. What's more, the
proliferation
of custom software has revealed how easy it is to make a
GUI that is more an impediment than an aide.
JonokeMed™ looks intuitive.
Following standard interface guidelines, JonkeMed™ presents
many tools just a mouse click away. Icons are comprehensible
and
meaningful, and elements appear in consistent locations.
Documents appear as they will print, and can be previewed
before output.

JonokeMed™ also helps you along by warning you if you are
about to do something permanent, like delete a record. If
you enter
certain information incorrectly, you are alerted. Many fields
are formatted automatically, allowing you to more quickly
enter a phone number, for example, and let JonokeMed™ display
it with the appropriate format.
